Abstract	The subject of the crime provided for in Article 2392 “Illegal seizure of the water fund in especially large amounts” by the Criminal Code of Ukraine is investigated. On the basis of the study of land and water legislation of Ukraine, significant signs of the concept of “land of the water fund of Ukraine” have been singled out and characterized.
